Opera lui Siegfried Kofczinsky este dominată de un historicism de factură central-europeană, cu o componentă puternică de romantism german, în care se amestecă eclectism vienez, neoclasicism decorativ și un neogotic spectaculos, rar întâlnit în Bucureștiul sfârșitului de secol XIX.
