## Descriere
Jean Văleanu se înscrie în modernismul bucureștean al anilor ’30–’40, cu accent pe imobile de raport și blocuri de locuințe, adesea cu parter activ (magazine) pe marile bulevarde. În ansamblul modernismului bucureștean, zona Magheru–Bălcescu–Brătianu este recunoscută ca un „vârf” al arhitecturii moderne din anii ’30–’40; o parte dintre intervențiile atribuite lui Văleanu se plasează tocmai în acest context urban și tipologic.
