Proiectele arhitectului Alexandru Iliescu sunt prezentate ca reprezentative pentru curentul mediteraneean interbelic, cu o componentă neo-mudejar rară în România. În mod special, imobilul de raport al lui Ion Hagianoff (str. Sf. Ionică 7, azi George Vraca 7) este descris drept una dintre cele mai frumoase lucrări mediteraneene / neo-mudejar din România.
